Then, join us for our first West Tennessee Business Showcase and Economic Development Workshop on Saturday, July 22, 8am-5pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Jackson, Tenn. Online registration is now open. The cost of registration is $65. We want to attract 100 small business owners to this conference which will have two tracks - one for prime, prime-ready and emerging businesses and one for new and startup businesses. You will be able to pick and choose workshops and panel discussions from each track. Furthermore, we will have small group tables for face-to-face discussion about issues in your area of business. The full conference agenda will be sent out 2 to 4 weeks in advance.

Dr. Eric Jones will be for the new superintendent for the Jackson Madison County School System for the 2017-2918 school year. Dr. Verna Ruffin who joined the school system in 2013 opted not to renew her contract earlier this year. Congratulations, Dr. Jones!
