The Chamber's regular Power Breakfast gives members and visitors an opportunity to network and learn. Cynthia Norwood, managing director of alt Consulting, was the May speaker. Other speakers include Annie Ruth "Bass Annie" Rice, retail managers Charles Adams, Garey Jenkins and Tad Duncan, Jimmy Bell, Erika Hayes and most recently ECD regional director Roger Sigler.

Mid-South Minority Business Council (MMBC) Continuum Forum

We were pleased to participate in the MMBC Economic Development Forum in August 2013 and to include our members, like D&D Healthcare, in the opportunity provided by MMBC.

Programs and Activities

HEJCDC

JMCAACC helped organize the Historical East Jackson Community Development Corporation in 2011 as part of our commitment to foster economic development in the East Jackson area of Jackson, TN. This area was devastated by tornadoes in 2003 and lost a number of businesses, services and residents in the area. HEJCDC works to stimulate and market community and economic development, to preserve the history and understanding of the area, to promote a positive image for the community. There latest effort is a public relations campaign.
